Pd. 1,5,6,7 – Warmup::  Do you believe that NASA landed a space craft on the moon in 1969?  Why or why not?

Moon Hoax is a hoax activity.  Finish for homework.

Pd.3 – Warmup:  Pretest on weather.  Check pretest.  Read 283-285 and draw diagrams on all 3 pages.  Complete for homework.

Tuesday  3/4/08

Pd. 1,5,6,7 – Warmup:: Which Apollo mission landed on the moon in July 1969?  What were the names of the 3 astronauts on that mission?  Check Homework.  View part of Too the Moon series – recreation of Apollo mission.

Pd.3 – Warmup:  Quiz on Homework  and pretest from Monday.  Big Ideas of Science – How and why do tornadoes form?  part of video on tornados.  Homework:  Explain how tornadoes form.  What is a funnel cloud.  Where do most tornados take place?

Wednesday  3/5/08

Pd. 1,5,6,7 – Warmup:: Explain why the moon has phases.  Why do we see different parts or all of the moon on different nights?  Lab on moon phases.  Homework:  Answer the warmup question again, based on your lab work, in a paragraph with diagrams. Counts as test grade – due Friday.

Pd. 3 – Warmup:  Explain how tornados form.   Lab on Tornadoes.  Homework:  Complete conclusion for lab.  Counts as a test grade - due Friday.
