Monday 11/26/07

All classes turn in signed grade sheet.

Pd. 1 & 5 – Journal:  write the 3 questions for this investigation.  Complete the investigation report.

Pd 6 & 7 – Take test on Motion and Gravity.  Complete the investigation report.

Pd. 3:   Journal:  which planet used to be considered Earth’s twin and why?   Which planet has the most moons?  How many?

View planets – add to your notes on planets.

Tuesday 11/27/07   Turn in signed grade sheets.

Pd. 1,5,6,7  Journal Entry:  What is deforestation?  Why do people cut down forests?  View example of a finished product.  Complete investigation report.  Learn how to annotate your images.

Pd. 3  Journal Entry:  What is located between Mars and Jupiter?                               What problems do these cause for Earth?  Finish filling out charts for planets.  Classify planets by different properties.

Wednesday 11/28/07 – Last day to turn in signed grade sheets.

Pd. 1,5,6,7  Journal:  Name 2 affects of climate that deforestation causes.  Do you think forests should be cut down?  Why or why not?   Review how to annotate images.  Learn how to post images and reports on wiki page.

Pd. 3  Journal: Name 4 properties that the inner planets have in common.  Name 4 properties that the outer planets have in common.

View example of final product with photostory.  Choose 2 planets to compare.  Create a storyboard of completed photostory with images, text and script.

Thursday 11/29/07 

Pd. 1,5,6,7 Journal:  Explain 3 actions that people can take to reduce the effects of deforestation.  Last day to check, correct group report and annotated images.  Last day to upload group report and annotated images and save the page.

Pd. 3  Journal:  what is the Oort Cloud?  Where is it?  What does it consist of?

Last day to complete storyboard for your planet photostory.  Learn how to create a photostory.

Friday 11/30/07 

Pd.  1,3,5,6,7  READ activity.
